| Ecom Marketing Application |
| Used to analyze claim data from prospective clients and was in need of UI Redesign. Hundreds of files are generated and processed each week. The UI Design needed an update that would reduce the amount of time users were manipulating these files, and reducing the number of file failures that occured. By adding a file lookup routine, and integrating initial file validation process, we reduced the amount of time users had to work with each file in order for it to be processed. Due to the proprietary nature of this application, screenshots are unavailable. |

| User Management Application |
| After analyzing the most popular tickets routinely submitted, it was decided that a User Managment application would be created to allow for easier User Maintenance. Previously, access to certain functions within our applications was embedded in ASP pages specific to each application. This often produced confusion, and slowed the ticket resolution down while the developer tried to find the appropriate location to give the user access. The User Management screen collected all the permissions into one location. This reduced the number of tickets handed over to the web support team and also decreased the time it took for these types of issues to be resolved. Due to the proprietary nature of this application, screenshots are unavailable. |

| Generic Self Service |
| My current project, which allows end users a way to check insurance claims and change information online. The application was created with HIPPA compliancy in mind, security and privacy issues being of utmost importance. Secure Web Services are used to interact with disparate client backend systems, transforming the data via XSL stylesheets into a common structure. This client-independent structure can then be used by the front-end to display information to the end user. This project entailed many new security concepts, such as roles and functions, which we used throughout the site. |

| Digital Insurance |
| My first project at Healthaxis, this insurance portal gathers individual and small group data and gives the user a quote from various insurance companies. My work on the quoting pages improved response time by 30%, and reduced the lines of code in the overall project by 50%. This was accomplished with the construction of common templates and global functions that are used throughout the site. |

| ACS Job Search |
| A site which allows users to search, view and apply for current job listings. It used a proprietary backend system that made it difficult to extract data for the web. I made use of a similar construct to Web Services, creating an ASP function that builds dynamic scripts based on user input that returns the appropriate data in a common format (ADO Recordset). |

| Clearvue PowerCD Titles |
| Clearvue had some interesting CD-ROM concepts ranging from Teen Pregnancy to High School Grammar. The goal was to convert their existing videotape media library to interactive CD-ROMs. We also stretched the limits of the PowerCD scripting language by adding video, interactive games and quizzes to each application. Our work brought forth several award-winning products for Clearvue. |

| PowerCD Educational CD-ROM Titles |
| All of the Zane products used the PowerCD scripting language, and developers created Visual Basic tools to transform data from the editorial department into this script. Over the course of 2 1/2 years, our team produced over 100 educational CD-ROM titles for all age groups. An automated processing system allowed us to manipulate text, images, and audio in batches using a base template, greatly reducing production time. |
